It would be very difficult to find anyone as honest as Rick Stodola. He doesn't hide anything. From the moment the puppies are born to the time they come home you get to see everything in photos and live video. He is there to answer any of your questions and keeps you informed during the entire process. The puppies are handled with such care by Rick and his family. We are so happy with Duke. He is just a great dog. Everywhere we go people stop to ask about the handsome puppy. He has been attending puppy classes once a week and is a quick learner. He loves to play with my two boys outside. He is a great addition to our family. We owe it all to the Stodolas.

Rick took us under his wing after a tearful phone call last Christmas. We had just lost our beloved 2 year old vizsla very suddenly the day before and Rick held our hand and told us that he had a male puppy with our name on him. Zeus came home in late January after Rick drove him all the way down to Dallas to meet my husband at the airport. Zeus has the sweetest temperament and has a bit of guard dog in him, barking at strangers as a warning. He plays really hard with our other dogs and runs like the wind. He talks! It’s hilarious; and he is easy to train. He is thoughtful and mindful of your communicating and he learned his name within a couple of days of his arrival home. The vizsla you will own from Stodola Vizslas are wonderful family dogs, calm in the house, energetic outside dogs with a beautiful honey color. Rick will give you as much information as you need to choose your puppy with pictures, live video feed of the pups and Rylee and updates as they grow.

He does "dog therapy" with autistic children; he is amazing with kids and always brings a smile to their face. I would love to own another vizsla, but my hubby is not ready yet. I don't know where to start in telling you how much we love Sawyer, so I guess I'll start at the beginning. After doing a lot of research, our family was going back and forth between a German Shorthair Pointer and a Weimaraner, when I saw our neighbor’s dog Cooper, the most striking dog I'd ever seen. Kim, Cooper's owner, told me she was a Vizsla, a breed I'd never heard of before. Immediately, I went home and started researching the breed, discovering that Vizslas met the requirements our family desired (such as size, hair length, shedding, temperament, personality, intelligence, and ease of training) without any of the drawbacks. Kim introduced me to Stodola Vizslas, where she'd gotten Cooper. From the first phone contact with Rick, to meeting him at the airport to pick up Sawyer, I could not have been more pleased with him as a breeder and man of integrity. I even spoke to Kelli several times through the adoption process, and she couldn't have been more helpful. From the first day to this, Sawyer has far exceeded my hopes and expectations. He is a loving, gentle family dog, as well as an energetic, playful member of our family. He enjoys chasing birds & butterflies, lizards, iguanas and banana rats (a possum like critter in Cuba). Not to mention, walking with me, running with his Dad (We have found that 45 minutes of exercise a day keeps out of mischief!), playing and napping with our daughters and swimming with me in Guantanamo Bay. Although we don't hunt him he has a keen sense of smell. Sawyer's above average intelligence made him easy to train and allows us to take him everywhere we go. Often people stop to comment on how handsome or well-behaved he is and occasionally someone is surprised at the distance I travelled to get him or how much I paid for him. My response is always the same, "I would have gone farther and paid a lot more for a Stodola Vizsla." We are thrilled to be getting another one of your pups and are counting down the days until we bring her home. I'm travelling a good bit farther for Rylan, but not paying much more, and I'm confident my response will be the same when someone stops me to comment on her!
